John M. Andrick | Cultural Historian

Dr. John Andrick has long held a passion for history and education. While retired from his teaching position at the University of Illinois, he continues to share his knowledge as a panelist for international conferences. Additionally, he has been an auditor for the Laborers International Union Local 703, and is proud of the work he has accomplished with that endeavor.
Throughout his career, Dr. Andrick has contributed to professional journals such as the History of Behavioral Sciences, the History of Psychology and the Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. He is a member of the Urbana-Champaign Friends Meeting, the Illinois State Historical Association, the National Association of Victorian Studies, the American Studies Association, the Laborers International Union, the American Association for the History of Medicine, the Organization of American Historians and the Modernist Studies Association.
Presently, Dr. Andrick speaks internationally at conferences relating to Victorian cultural history.
